I gave 4 stars because there's no "Yo Adrian" scene in the documentary which was supposed to be the heart of the rocky series. Rocky is not just a boxing movie. It's a movie about love, friendship, opportunity and dedication. This documentary manages to capture the moments of all the series so wonderfully that you'll be moist eyed after watching it and your hearts will be filled with pride. A must watch for rocky fans. I loved it because the rocky series was my inspiration to achieve something in my life. It always keeps me motivated whenever I feel down.
Finally, rocky lives on.. duh duh duuu..(theme song).

Promises to be a good follow up to the Rocky series. Apollo Creed trained him and now he can train Apollo's son. It promises to be much more that just a "fight movie". Looking forward to seeing it all. I've watched all the Rocky movies more than once and will likely watch them again. Shows that a kid from the 'wrong side of the tracks' can make good and also very true to the opportunity in America to do something if you want it bad enough to work for it. The love story with it only makes it closer to real life. Thank you for writing and starring in these, Sylvester Stallone.

A solid overview of the Rocky series, giving the right amount of attention to the central aspect of each of them: the fights and the fighters. This necessitated more limited looks at the supporting characters (with almost no mention of Paulie), but that's understandable; a project like this needs to devote as much time as possible to the latest installment. Carl Weathers, Dolph Lundgren and Michael B. Jordan give good accounts of what they've contributed to the saga, and it would have been nice to hear from Mr. T, who portrayed what was arguably Rocky's toughest and most pivotal opponent.

Enjoyed the history behind the creation of Rocky and Creed; I really loved the series and I loved Creed. You can relate the history of these characters to life, how one can share lessons learned from real life to movie making life and pass on your experience. I really enjoyed how Mr. Stallone would assist the director/producer of Creed with sequence of boxing moves for the movie Creed and how the young boxer had to really get knocked out to capture the moment on film. If was shocking and funny, but Mr. Stallone stated we all had to join the club of seeing stars.

There can be no better tribute to the legacy of Rocky than this documentary. I just purchased Creed and after seeing this treatment I wished it could have been included with the Blu-ray DVD as a Special Feature or even as a second disk. I tell you after watching Creed I want to go back and watch all the other Rocky movies. This movie points to the future while at the same time opening a time portal to the past. I guess this movie proves that "You can go home again."

Great film about the Rocky franchise and the new direction it could be heading. I thought they spent a little too much time on discussing the new movie and some of the questions seemed repetitive just worded differently. Also, if you're going to have all the old cast members and villains on then were was Talia Shire (Adrian), Burt Young (Pauly) and Mr. T (Clubber Lang)?

Wonderful summery of all the great Rocky movies. I loved them all and I loved watching Sly and the others talk about their experience making these movies.
I will be starting from the first Rocky and watching all of them again.
I hope they will make another beyond "Creed". I look forward to it. I know Rocky still has a couple of more movies in him.
We need to see him grow as a old trainer also.

I would've given it 5 stars if Stallone would've acknowledged or mentioned Chuck Wepner as an influence to the Rocky saga but I just don't buy the whole computer predicting Rocky Marciano vs Muhammed Ali what if outcome. Otherwise purely entertaining if you're a fan of the Rocky films. Rocky II was my favorite of them all.
