The Quiet Place - When Art brings Balance and Quiet
My proper noun is Laura and I'm the creative person backside @thequietplaceart. I'k currently based in Hong Kong, later on living in Italian republic, the United States, Germany and Republic of ireland.
My art journey started in 2022 when I realised that I wasn't spending enough fourth dimension doing the thing I loved almost: painting. Since then, I have created The Serenity Place Art, taught several painting workshops, and participated in two exhibitions in Dublin and four in Hong Kong.
My full-fourth dimension task is as a project manager in a tech company, so about of my day involves creating schedules, plans and checklists. To counter this rational and organized side, I'll e'er make fourth dimension for fine art. This is how I observe peace and maintain my mental stability. The idea of balance is reflected in my artworks: the dotwork and hyper detail blend in with the fluid backgrounds, the cold black & white complement the blue skies.
For my watercolour illustrations, I notice inspiration in nature and the places I travel to. The subjects of my artworks vary a lot. However, whether it'southward in homage to the city where I live, a far away galaxy or a dreamy whale, the primal theme volition e'er exist the embrace between rationality and eye.
I believe in the ability of art as a fashion to connect deeper with oneself, equally opposed to the wider audience. In today's hectic world, I am committed to inspiring more than and more people to have upwardly art every bit a way to find calm, build resilience and create your own quiet place. ~ thequietplaceart
